The giant wrap-around bar emulates the approachable tone that's felt in Greenpoint.

Alameda is cozy and intimate. It’s the restaurant you go to with close friends or a date to share some food, get a few drinks, and have endless conversation.  The menu is small with a few staples that never change, while the rest shifts with the seasons.  It’s not too often you we will say this about such a classy place, but we highly recommend getting the pimento cheese fries. Not the healthiest choice, but one your table will not be sad about. UPDATE: No more cheese fries. (Head to Palace Cafe, their soon-to-be spot to catch the classic foods.)
